How are we?
I'm currently sitting in the lounge of the beautiful Amy after a mighty lovely walk though Clapham Common. This evenings plans a good old fashioned sleep over. Que big smiles!!!!
Amy is one of my favourite blogger friends because 1. she is just fabulous with an amazing array of cool outfits and 2. she also seems to be to the key to my blogging mojo. Every time we hang out I seem to come away full of new ideas. Love ya loads AMY!!!
So lets start with an outfit post.
Today I paired my handmade Megan Nielsen Kelly skirt. with a classic stripy T and my Cath Kidston plimsolls. I made the Kelly skirt a couple of months back but I never got round to taking pictures.
Overall the pattern was super easy to follow and I was able to finish it in a day.
I decided on a medium weight denim and red heart shape buttons. The only problem I had a long the way was the top button. The thickness in the waistband meant I couldn't do the button horizontally as needed so I had to do it vertically which I'm not too happy with but it still works.
I think I have a thing for the colour Red & polka dots lately and I mistakenly matched my accesssories. But I think it looks quite cute.
If you looking a quick, easy and coll project then I would definitely recommend the Kelly Skirt.
Well lets see how long the mojo lasts :)
