What I did & what I wore this weekend

Happy Sunday All,

I finally remembered to take my camera with me so I could do some outfit pictures this weekend.

Friday I met my friends for Pizza and it was YUM!!!
I wore one of my many dresses, this one was from Portabello Market, it has tiny horses on it :) It has been so chilly in London lately I had to add a underslip and my Mustard Cardigan.

Can you see a pattern, mustard Cardi & Mustard Belt!!! I L.O.V.E Mustard....... the color not the sauce :) (Cardi H&M, Tights M&S and Boots La Redoute.)

Amelie and I work together at present, she comes from Bordeaux in France. Amelie is such a lovely girl, I like my job but I do have some days where I struggle with the commute into central London but she is always there to cheer me up :)

We came straight from work to meet my other Friends Catherine and Alex. I met Catherine at my previous workplace and we have been the best of friends ever since, I have actually asked her to be one of my bridesmaids when I get married next year. :) As soon as we became friends I just knew instantly we would be forever. Catherine has such a kind heart and always have time for all her friends even if she is just listening to them complain....... this includes me unfortunately.

(Please excuse the sleepy picture.. I had got up at 5am that morning)

Alex and I were introduced by Catherine, we have so much in common including our love of dresses and our shoe size; we are forever swapping shoes or other clothes. I am so thankful to have found such a wonderful friend, Alex is kind, creative and a little bit kooky which is awesome as I am too.

Unfortunately Amelie lives across the other side of London so she wasn't able to come for drinks after, so Catherine, Alex and I went for cocktails. I am not a big drinker but I do like the odd Margarita, after our one cocktail we were all so shattered we called it an early night.

Saturday was a forgetful day, as I went out with Mr Rob for Brunch in Chiswick and forgot my camera. We decided to pop in to this very nice french restaurant, it was so authentic it made us feel like we had hopped on the Eurostar to Paris. I had yummy Scrambled Egg & Salmon with a lovely pot of breakfast tea. Mr Rob had yummy butter milk pancakes and syrup.

We browsed around for a bit and although I was very good and didn't buy anything we did decide to get some Gelato which was A-MA-ZING!!! I had two scoops Nocciloa (Hazelnut) & Honeycomb, I don't really recall what Mr Rob had; I must have been preoccupied by my own :)

Today I went to Mr Robs folks for dinner, his mum makes this amazing pasta bake which is all the ingredients for lasagna but super quick to make. She made it just for me because I love it!!!

I wore a vintage 60/70's dress with amazing ribbon detail that I got a couple of months ago from Ebay but I couldn't wear it because 1. it is brushed Nylon so it can only be worn in the chillier months and 2. it was too small.

I paired it with my favorite boots from Schuh & some rust colored tights to match the ribbon, what do you think?

On a side note I recently have lost 10lbs with healthy diet, everything I like in moderation and exercise :) I couldn't have done it without the help and advice of the lovely Candace of Healthy Mama Grubbs and Mama Grubbs Grub. Not only has she done a wonderful job herself to get healthy but she also posts healthy recipes and is always happy to give advice to help everyone else.

Just thought I would give her a little mentions because I can't thank her enough....only 21lbs.

Well I hope you have had a great weekend, enjoy the rest of your day/Evening.

Ciao for now
Love Katrina x
